Portes ouvertes 2017 : Château Saint Christoly

The second chateau I visited was located in more north side than Pauillac.
Our bus tour group had lunch at this chateau.
두 번째로 방문한 곳은 뽀약보다 더 북쪽에 있는 샤토 생 크리스톨리였다.
우리 버스 투어 그룹은 여기에서 점심 식사를 했다.

Lunch was a charcuterie plate.
It was very french lunch (as I think)
All of things were good, however, I didn't like the plastic plate and cutlery.
점심은 소지시와 햄이었다. (치즈도)
이거 굉장히 프랑스식 식사인 것 같은데.
다 좋았지만 접시랑 포크와 나이프가 플라스틱인 건 별로 마음에 안 들었다.
There were 2 different types of desserts,
and I chose cannelé!
It's my favorite.
디저트는 두 가지였는데 나는 까늘레를 골랐다.
제일 좋아하는 거다.
During the lunch, a bottle of Chateau Saint Christoly vintage 2013 and 2014 was provided.
This wine was really good with charcuterie.
Also, there was a singer in order to make a good mood for the meal.
He often said "on y va", it was so ridiculous for me.
Why do we go, where do we go?
It is like a sensibility of middle-age men................
점심식사 중에는 샤토 생 크리스톨리 2013년산과 2014년산 레드와인이 제공되었다.
소시지와 햄과 굉장히 잘 어울렸다.
또 식사 분위기를 좋게 하려는 듯, 가수가 노래를 불렀는데,
자꾸 "가자" 라고 말했다.
이거 진짜 유노윤호같았음..
콘서트장에서 자꾸 점프점프를 외치거나 가는거야~~ 하는... 유노윤호..
엄청 중년 아저씨 감성이었다고 생각한다............
After the lunch, we listened the story of the chateau.
There was a family tree on the wall in wine cellar.
It was quite interesting.
The most impressive story was about the sibling of the third generation.
There were an older brother and a younger sister.
The mother trained her son to be the owner of chateau.
So he studied in Bordeaux.
However, he went to serve in the army because it was the first world war period.
He sent a lot of post cards to his sister to give some advice for vineyard.
Finally he was dead at the end of the war.
(I'm not sure if he died before the end of war or after the war)
Eventually, his sister succeeded to the ownership of chateau.
점심 식사 후에는 샤토의 이야기를 들었다.
와인 저장고 한 쪽 벽면에 가계도가 있었다.
이게 참 재미있었다.
가장 인상 깊었던 이야기는 3세대의 남매의 이야기였는데,
오빠와 여동생이 있었다.
그들의 어머니는 오빠를 샤토의 후계자로서 열심히 키웠다고 한다.
그래서 그 오빠가 보르도 대학교에서 공부도 했는데
하필 1차 세계 대전 기간이라 군대에 가버렸단다.
그러니 그동안 샤토는 여동생이 운영을 했고, 오빠는 엽서로 조언을 해줬다고 한다.
하지만 결국... 오빠는 죽고...
(죽은 년도가 1918년으로 되어있는데 전쟁 중에 죽은 건지 후에 죽은 건지는 모르겠음)
결국 여동생이 샤토의 소유권을 계승했다고 한다.
And the postcards her brother had sent were displayed on the oak barrels.
I thought that it is so romantic(?), sentimental(?) or sensitive story.
I hope that they make something more to show the postcards well.
It should be something special like their identity or symbol.
그래서 그 오빠가 보낸 엽서들이 오크통에 전시가 되어있었다.
난 이게 진짜 엄청 낭만적인? 감수성을 자극하는 이야기라고 생각했고
이 엽서들을 좀 잘 보여 줄 수 있는 뭔가가 있었으면 좋겠다고 생각했다.
이거야 말로 이 샤토의 상징이나 정체성 같은 게 되어야 하지 않을까?
나한텐 엄청 특별하게 느껴지는데!! 8ㅅ8
Their wine is exported to Belgium, China, Taiwan and Japan.
The vineyard is around 30 hectares.
60% of Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon
이 샤토에서 생산되는 와인은 벨기에, 중국, 대만 그리고 일본으로 수출된다고 한다.
포도밭은 30헥타르 정도이고
60%가 메흘로, 40%가 카베흐네 소비뇽이란다.
